South Dakota’s Badlands National Park has an excellent welcoming committee. For one guest who hoped to see bison while visiting the park, that wish was granted nearly immediately, thanks to an itchy bison hanging out by the “Entering Badlands National Park” sign.

“Welcome to the Badlands!” wrote onewildlifer in the post sharing the video. “I was hoping to see wildlife, especially bison, when I arrived. But I gotta admit, I wasn’t expecting one to come out from behind the sign and personally welcome me. What an unexpected and wonderful gift.”

“Badlands said it’ll come to you instead,” wrote National Geographic Travel in a comment.
