Trail runner Harry Marshall recently went on a “bear hunt” in the form of a 6-kilometer run in Whistler, Canada. He challenged his online community to guess how many bears he’d spot during the run. Shockingly, he spotted nine. As a bonus, he also ran past a big pile of bear poo, which is not that shocking, considering how many bears were out and about that day.

“Never seen this many bears so close together in my life!!!” Marshall wrote in an Instagram post sharing the video. “Crazy to say I saw all these bears in just one 6km loop?!”
Apparently, though this seems pretty abnormal to most of us, it’s really not, if you’re from the area.
“I saw 8 in the same spot a month ago,” wrote one person in the comments section.
