A wildlife photographer in southern California set up some Halloween scenes in the Santa Ana Mountains next to his trail cams, and he captured a parade of creatures walking through, including mountain lions. Mark Girardeau says he had the scenes set up for a couple of months, and he was excited to capture footage of a gray fox, a bobcat, a deer, and a couple of mountain lions walking through the scenes set up with jack o’lanterns and skeletons.

Girardeau told ABC 7 LA News that in order to get the cool shots, the animals had to walk through going the correct direction, and all of his gear had to be working at the right time. Thankfully, the stars aligned several times, and he got some great footage.
