Knives are one of the most fundamental tools for any survival situation, but beyond that, they're invaluable for everyday tasks. We never leave home without a pocket knife, and many of you probably feel the same way. If you're interested in checking out some of the latest and greatest knives and tools from makers across the United States, Blade Show West 2022 is the place to do it. This year, the show is taking place in Salt Lake City for the first time ever. It's only two weeks away — Blade Show West will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, October 7th and Saturday, October 8th.
Blade Show West, which previously took place in Long Beach, California, is excited to move to the great state of Utah. The show will feature hundreds of exhibitors, including production and custom knifemakers, knife accessory companies, and vendors of materials, equipment, and tools. Big names such as Spyderco, Microtech, Emerson, TOPS, Kizer, and Hogue will all be in attendance with knives you can try out. Click here to view the current exhibitor list. There will also be a series of free demos and presentations for attendees, including a “Back from the Edge of Dull” sharpening presentation from Wicked Edge and an expert knifemaker panel that will analyze and critique custom knives.
As always, awards will be given out by our colleagues at BLADE Magazine for both factory knives and custom knives. There will also be numerous raffles, giveaways, and opportunities to buy or trade knives on site.
