Ciara Mc Carthy and Cody Costello teamed up with Chris Barry of Go Fishing Ireland for a recent pike fishing trip. The fish were feeding well and plenty of action came to their lures. Cody battled with a number of very lively 90+cm fish , but top honours went to Ciara with a fine fish of 101cms. A new personal best. Just goes to prove that the ladies can hold their own when it comes to pike fishing.
Separately, Joe Corcoran and friends enjoyed a day out on the water to celebrate his birthday. Everyone caught pike, but birthday honours were reserved for Joe who fittingly landed the biggest fish of the day, and a new PB. Congratulations Joe, and Happy Birthday!
