While camping in British Columbia, Canada, with his dog, Frankie, Tristan Boschman spotted a vole floating in a lake. While filming the harmless rodent and wondering if it was OK, Frankie came to investigate before promptly eating the animal whole. Boschman, still filming, was shocked at how quickly things spiraled out of control.

“Are you OK, buddy?” Boschman wondered aloud about the vole as he zoomed up on it in the video. Then—”Ohhh-ahhh, Frankie!!” His shock is evident in his voice. Frankie, however, sees no problem with the situation and swims on.
