Security-camera footage shows the moment lightning struck a building at an elementary school in Buckeye, Arizona. Local news shared the footage on social media, noting that the massive boom is perhaps the wildest part.

“SOUND ON! Scary moments at Verrado Heritage Elementary School this morning as monsoon storms passed through,” wrote ABC 15 News. “This school video shows the moment a lightning strike caused damage the school’s gym. Thankfully nobody was hurt. The gym is being assessed for any structural damage.”
