Typically, the life of a police officer is very stressful. I cannot imagine half of the calls that they have to deal with on a daily basis. However, sometimes, they get calls like this that must brighten their day. New York police responded to a call of a ‘masked suspect’; however, it was a serious case of mistaken identity.

New York Police Get A Laugh At A Unique ‘Masked Suspect’

The Ramapo Police Department got quite the laugh after they apprehended a suspicious ‘masked suspect’. The police got the call and immediately responded. In a Facebook video, they showed that the suspect was actually just an animal.

“The subject turned out to be a deer disguising itself as a bag,” the officers joked. The video shows officers approaching the poor animal as it lay in the snow with its head stuck in a bright green bag. Officers cautiously approached the creature and gently removed the bag from its head.

After a second or two of becoming aware of its surroundings, the now ‘unmasked suspect’ fled for the woods. The post continued on with its hilarious commentary. “Officers sprang into deer-tective mode,” it quipped. “They removed the disguise and released the suspect back into the wild on its own hoof.”

Turns out that the officers who responded to the scene were not the only ones who got a chuckle out of the situation. In addition, the people of the internet also got a good laugh and took to the comments to share their opinions on the ‘masked suspect’.
