Lenka Lanči happened upon an incredible natural phenomenon while skiing. The phenomenon, called a sun candle, is an optical illusion that happens when sunlight reflects off ice crystals in the air, creating what appears to be a column of sparkles.

“Nature casts a spell . . . a beautiful sight,” Lanči wrote in her TikTok post sharing the video, which went viral with more than 5.5 million views.

Commenters note that the scene looks magical. Some say it resembles a portal to another world in a fictional story. Lanči doesn’t specify where she was when she saw this spectacle, but many outlets are reporting she was in Austria.
