We’re no strangers to outdoor enthusiasts doing their thing in dinosaur suits (see friends hiking Half Dome in inflatable dino costumes here). But traveling to an active volcano in Iceland to recreate an imagined scene from Earth’s past in a dino suit? Now that’s dedication.
A popular video on social media from an Iceland tourist account shows a person in a dino suit standing in front of an erupting volcano. As red-hot lava spews into the air behind the faux dino, the animal grapples with what could be its last minutes on Earth . . . or, at least, that’s the scene the person inside the costume is acting out as multiple people film him or her.
While we don’t know for sure who’s inside the dino suit, the post credits photographer Mike Mezeul for creating this “fun moment during a volcano eruption.”
