A blue crab holding a “knife” wasn’t on one Florida man’s 2026 bingo card, but he did get a viral video out of it. Eduardo Alvarez recently shared footage of his dog fighting a blue land crab before Alvarez lifted the crab up by its claw and relocated it in the bushes. Clutched in the crab’s other claw was a blade, which Alvarez jokingly called a “shank.” He also hilariously advises his dog, Summer, to not mess with the “gangster-a** crab.”

“Sir drop the weapon and step away from the sand,” Alvarez wrote in his video’s caption.

“Mess with crabby, you get stabby,” joked on person in the comments section.

“I don’t know what’s more surprising; a crab with a shank or you just lifting him up like its an everyday occurence,” wrote another.
