Bunkhouse fifth wheel RVs can be some of the best RV models for families. When you camp with kids and other family members you need plenty of places for people to sleep. Bunkhouses are the way to go.
When looking at RV models, the abbreviation “BH,” typically stands for “bunkhouse.”
Why Buy a Fifth Wheel?
Fifth wheels are great because they offer stability when towing, making them slightly smoother to maneuver than towable travel trailers. What’s more, fifth wheel owners have the ability to leave the camper behind to explore nearby areas. You don’t need to lug your home everywhere like with a motorhome.
Fifth wheels are the most residential feeling of all travel trailers – largely due to their size and interior height. It takes a well-equipped truck to haul a fifth wheel, but many find the upgraded tow vehicle is worth it for the more luxurious and spacious camping experience.
There are plenty of new and used fifth wheel RV models out there. Used models typically have the advantage of a lower price tag while still being in excellent condition. With that in mind, here are some of our favorite fifth wheel bunkhouse floor plans to consider.
