Wildlife photographer Daniel Dietrich recently shared a video that first shows what appears to be an empty field of grass. Then, he focuses on the screen of his camera, which is zoomed in on what’s actually out in that field—a puma “hiding” in plain sight.

Dietrich is a naturalist and wildlife guide in Point Reyes National Seashore, California, where mountain lions are native. However, in a comment reply asking for location, Dietrich notes that he took this video in South America.

Mountain lions, also called pumas and cougars, live throughout much of the Americas. In the Patagonia region (Chile and Argentina), most people call these wild cats “pumas.”

Can you find the puma in the first frame? It’s not easy.
