A black rhino became agitated and attacked a tourist vehicle in Namibia’s Etosha National Park. The people inside were on a self-drive safari when the rhino approached and charged the vehicle, ramming into the front driver side multiple times. The rhino managed to do some serious damage to the vehicle, but it could still drive, and there were no injuries.

The Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism acknowledged the incident, which happened on Saturday. “No person was injured, but the vehicle sustained some damage,” the Ministry wrote in a brief press release. “In light of the incident, the ministry’s spokesperson Vilho Hangula said the ministry strongly urges tourists and visitors to exercise caution while in the park. ‘Wild animals act on instincts and their behaviour can be very unpredictable,’ Hangula said.”
