Jim Lawrence from Asheville, North Carolina, recently shared close-up footage from his backyard of a bear thoroughly enjoying nectar from his hummingbird feeder. In the video, you can see the bear lapping up the sweet liquid as it grasps onto the feeder with its nectar-soaked claws. Eventually, it pulls too hard and the feeder comes crashing down.

“Silly bear, bird feeders aren’t for bears!” wrote WLOS News in an Instagram post sharing Lawrence’s video.
